Durucan Baltas
Founder of B.I.G. UK
Durucan Baltas has worked on strategic change and large-scale HR transformation programmes at PwC, Accenture and Wipro across the energy, healthcare, financial services and technology sectors. He subsequently founded B.I.G. UK as the international arm of Baltas Group. Today, it provides corporate training, leadership development, HR consultancy and AI-supported recruitment services across the United Kingdom, Europe, Türkiye and the Middle East. As part of the Group’s collaboration with WOBI, which dates back to 2005, he hosts senior executive delegations attending the World Business Forum in New York.
His work spans management capabilities, personality science and technology. He focuses on the effects on the workforce and business outcomes when AI optimises operational routines and enables employees to concentrate on strategic, value-adding work. Following the AI literacy programmes he has led, gains in effectiveness and productivity ranging from 5% to 35% have been observed at individual and departmental levels within one month. He led the development of RiteFit, an AI-avatar interview platform, and Acar Baltas Dijital Bilge, both firsts in their fields in Türkiye. He supports agile transformation in organisations in the UK and Türkiye through Celemi’s AgileMove simulation. In his view, leadership is what makes the difference in AI transformation.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Reading and a master’s degree in international management from Henley Business School, and teaches as a guest lecturer at both institutions. He has also worked as a semi-professional football referee in England for more than ten years.

A simple booking path
Right topic. Right voice. Right outcome.
Share the brief
Tell us about the audience, moment and change you want to create.
Shape the fit
We recommend the keynote and tailor its emphasis to your context.
Deliver the moment
A polished keynote designed to resonate in the room and travel beyond it.
How do we choose the right keynote?
Share your audience, business context and the shift you want to create. We will recommend the strongest topic and speaker fit, then refine the emphasis with you.
Can a keynote be customised?
Yes. Customisation can include the audience context, strategic priorities, sector examples and desired outcomes. The scope is agreed before content preparation begins.
Which event formats are available?
In-person, virtual and hybrid delivery can be considered. Availability and technical requirements are confirmed for each engagement.
How long is a keynote?
Timing is shaped around the programme. A typical keynote can be adapted to the available agenda slot, subject to the topic and agreed learning outcome.
Are workshops or moderated conversations available?
Selected subjects can be extended into workshops, executive sessions or moderated conversations. Tell us what the audience needs to do differently after the event.
How are fees and travel handled?
Fees depend on the speaker, format, date, location and customisation scope. The proposal will separate the engagement fee and any agreed travel requirements.
Can the session be recorded or streamed?
Recording, streaming and reuse require written approval in advance. Rights, duration, audience access and distribution channels should be included in the brief.
What information do you need for an enquiry?
Event date, location or platform, audience profile and size, preferred topic, format, timing, budget range and the outcome you want are the most useful starting points.
How far in advance should we enquire?
Earlier is better for date choice and customisation. Short-notice requests may still be possible, depending on speaker availability and event requirements.
What happens to the information submitted through the form?
This draft form does not transmit data. Before launch, it should be connected only to an approved Baltas system with the required privacy notice, consent language and access controls.
